Level Crossing Woks - Mumbil

Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) is upgrading the signalling system at the Neurea Road level crossing at Mumbil as part of the NSW Government’s rail infrastructure program across the Country Regional Network.

Works are being completed by TfNSW’s contractor, John Holland Rail (JHR). JHR operate and maintain the Country Regional Network across NSW under a ten-year contract with TfNSW.



Why is the work being completed?

Works are being completed to upgrade existing signaling arrangements at the Neurea Road level crossing, Mumbil.

When will work commence?

Works are currently scheduled to commence on Tuesday 9 June and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2020, subject to final approvals and weather conditions.

Site operations will run from 6.00am to 6.00pm each day, including weekends.

How will I be affected?

During the works you may observe additional heavy vehicle movements.

There is also potential for noise and dust from the work.

We will endeavour to minimise disruptions to local traffic and business as best as feasibly possible.
